Stress vs Burnout
There is quite a bit of differences between stress and burnout so make sure that you treat them differently. While stress is often characterized by over-engagement, disengagement is the buzzword in burnout. When suffering from stress, your emotions are going to be over-reactive. On the other hand, in burnout your emotions are blunted. Stress gives rise to hyperactivity and urgency. Burnout gives rise to helplessness and hopelessness.
